It was funded by Ministry of Tribal Affairs to ensure tribal students get access to quality education in the remote tribal areas. In these schools, education will be entirely free.
- Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Shelti is a Residential School and only for ST Students living in a remote area , it offers free education from class VI upto classXII standards.
- EMRS School are providing free School uniform, Textbook, bag, pen, pencil and other accessories for educational purposed to their Students with the same quality..
- Every students are treated equally and provided the same opportunities, it is for all the ST students in UT of Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu. All the Children domicile of UT of Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu can get admission in EMRS Shelti. But, due to a limited seat , there is no direct Admission, those who are getting admission needs to go through Entrance Test.
- It is affiliated under CBSE. So, CBSE syllabus is followed, and Students can access the same quality education with other CBSE Students across the country.
- In EMRS school, Highly qualified and Trained Teacher teach the Students with the help of diagram and practical to help them get better understanding.
- Students health and security are very much concerned in EMRS School, so they were provided very good treatment. To support and maintaining their health, one Staff Nurse is provided.
